If you like Beef BBQ Ribs, but dont want to empty your wallet on places like Tony Roma's, Hard Rock Cafe or Planet Hollywood, then Iga Panggang Panglima (IPP) may be your alternative. It's located on Gandaria Tengah street, South of Jakarta, just accros the Gandaria apartment near the corner of the intersection with Gandaria street (see the blue dot on the map).
It's not exactly a place to have a fancy dinner (well there is nothing fancy about eating ribs anyway) , it's an open air warung style eating place with plastic stools and table, far from any nice cafe or restaurant, but it's much better than any sidewalk stalls.
There is only two meal menu here, BBQ ribs and BBQ sausage. One portion of BBQ ribs (500g) will cost you Rp 50K with 3 different sauce, original, black pepper and lemon hot. You can add the side dish, fried potato or corn for extra Rp 5K. The portion is quite generous, the meat is tender and taste yummy. Please note that the recipe is american style not the konro (Makasar) style which usually with peanut sauce.
